Medical Receptionist/Assistant (Part-Time)

Our medical office in Plano, Texas is seeking a professional, experienced and friendly individual to work as our front office receptionist and medical assistant. You will interact directly with patients and their family members as well as be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including billing. This position requires a service oriented individual with a good work ethic and is a strong team player.

The candidate must be compassionate towards patients, have excellent communication, is reliable, unafraid to ask for help, and is a problem solver with a positive attitude.

The following are required:

- At least 2 years medical office experience

- Have the ability to answer and properly direct phone calls and other correspondence

- Check in patients, update and verify all demographics

- Check out patients, collect appropriate sums at time of service, and schedule future appointments (when necessary)

- Be able to properly conduct end of day collections and balancing

-Learn to schedule cosmetic surgeries

- Must be able to communicate well both orally and written

- Work intelligently and efficiently in fast-paced environments

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
