Pinnacle Foot and Ankle Clinic is a small boutique two physician practice concentrating on general podiatric care. We pride ourselves on placing our patient's needs first and making sure each patient feels cared for. Our team is small with every employee vital to our functionality.
As a Medical Administrator you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a friendly and timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Update and file medical records and insurance reports
- Arrange hospital admissions, surgery scheduling, and laboratory services
- Obtain insurance authorizations
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Handle receivable and payable accounts and keep financial records
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
Skills
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Computer literate
- All applicants must be COVID-19 vaccinated
- Pleasant phone voice with exceptional phone etiquette
- Familiarity with EMR desired but not required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
