SPT offers occupational therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, and music therapy for children ages birth through 21 years of age. Our mission here at Southern Pediatric Therapy is to provide high quality, cost-effective, patient and family care. Our commitment to the patient experience Is what sets us apart! As a Medical Receptionist at SPT you are a huge part of that. You are the smiling face and voice that welcomes our families and kiddos and helps create a loving and accepting environment.
Experience is not a requirement to apply. The ideal candidate will understand the value of customer service in a medical office role and know how to deliver that experience to every person that they encounter in person or on the phone, every day. They will commit to ensuring the patient experience is exceptional by completing patient related tasks promptly, following up and following through on tasks. The ideal candidate will excel at multi tasking, organization, and attention to detail. You will be responsible for:
- Managing the schedules of multiple providers in multiple disciplines by scheduling patients for appointments and evaluations, rescheduling as necessary, and filling schedule gaps.
- Customer service related tasks and problem resolution
- Document and chart management to include filling, faxing, scanning, etc.
- Supply ordering
- Patient chart accuracy
- Processing payments
- Filtering patient communications through cross functional teams

Pay: $15.00 - $16.75 per hour
