Job Description:

The Medical Receptionist role is vital to the success of the front office. This position is responsible for answering phones, greeting patients, and performing other administrative duties. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes initiative and has great customer service skills. The Medical Receptionist will work closely with the medical team in providing support and assistance to the physicians, nurses, and other staff members in the office. This position is also responsible for maintaining patient files, scheduling appointments, and maintaining medical records.

Qualifications:
·High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
·2 years of medical office experience preferred; working knowledge of medical terminology and medical software applications (ECWIS preferred)
·Strong verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all types of personnel from patients, families, co-workers, physicians, etc.,
·Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment; must be able to work under pressure; under stress; under pressure; under time constraints; multi-tasking skills; ability to prioritize tasks; ability to handle multiple situations simultaneously; ability to work independently or as part of a team.
