Job Overview:
At The Chadwick Clinic, we’re committed to providing exceptional outpatient mental health services. This is only possible with the contribution of our wonderful administrative team. We’re currently seeking a qualified medical/mental health receptionist with strong communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and extensive front desk experience in a medical/mental health clinic environment. As the face of our organization, you will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative medical/mental health clinic environment, treating patients with dignity from the moment they walk through our door.
Objectives of this role
· Support providers and nurses in providing accurate and organized care
· Present as the friendly and resourceful face of our clinic
· Ensure efficient patient management processes and workflows
· Maintain a clean and accessible clinic
· Cultivate confident relationships with new and existing patients
· Act as a liaison between providers, patients, and visitors
Responsibilities
· Welcome visitors and patients at the front desk of our medical/mental health clinic
· Check patients in/out, schedule new/follow-up appointments and collect payments
· Setup and maintain patient medical records through EHR
· Manage the upkeep and maintenance of medical/mental health clinic
· Facilitate communication between patients, visitors, and medical staff while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
· Maintain a clean and organized clinic
Skills and qualifications
· Demonstrated interpersonal and written communication skills in professional manner
· Experience as a receptionist in medical/mental health clinic
· Knowledge of medical/mental health clinic processes and knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
· Familiarity with patient management software systems
· Proven organizational skills with ability to multitask in fast pace environment
· Experience working in a collaborative environment with multiple providers

· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
· Experience as a medical/mental health clinic receptionist
· Strong work ethic with positive attitude
· Demonstrated commitment to patient care
· Experience collaborating with providers and nurses
