Busy Private Internal Medicine Practice looking for a Medical Receptionist/Patient Care Coordinator to provide day-to-day support to practitioners. This is a full time position with a Monday-Thursday schedule. Weekly 3 Day weekends!

Responsibilities may include:

• Checking patients in/out
• Answering and triaging calls
• Coordinating Rx refills, appointments/tests, and procedures as delegated by the practitioners
• Obtaining medical equipment and supplies from third-party suppliers
• Obtaining prior authorizations
• Referring patients for out-Patient Care including infusions, radiology, and PT
• Attaining medical records
• Scanning and assigning documents with the electronic health record
• Scheduling and confirming patients
• Performing special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications for Medical Reception / Care Coordination position include:

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Strong computer skills (eclinicalworks experience is a plus)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to high quality customer service
• Must be a team player
