Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the medical office
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Electronic health System
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments or payments for services rendered
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations at the front desk
Skills:
- Previous experience working in a medical or counseling office setting is preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a compassionate and professional manner
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively manage patient appointments and records
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle a high volume of calls
- Knowledge of front desk procedures and administrative tasks in a medical office setting
