Veterinary Receptionist

Animal Medical Center of Madisonville Inc., is seeking a Receptionist to join our 3-doctor practice in Madisonville, Kentucky. We've been serving this community for over 30 years! Our hospital has a commitment to providing the highest quality patient care with exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate will be a team player who is friendly, people-oriented, outgoing, has excellent communication skills, multitasker, able to handle a busy atmosphere, a positive attitude, and have a passion for working in veterinary medicine.

Must be a motivated self-starter who is able to take direction and work with minimal supervision. Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays.Dependable attendance and transportation is required.

Responsibilities include greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, and front office and reception area maintenance.
