Medical Receptionist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in an office setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office environment and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries

- Verify patient demographic information and collect necessary paperwork

- Maintain patient records and update information as needed

- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

- Manage office supplies and inventory

- Perform general administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or Dental Receptionist preferred

- Knowledge of EMR, medical office systems and procedures

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
