New England Medical Group provides integrative health care and wellness services for addictive and mental health disorders. Our holistic approach seeks to bridge the gaps in services for people seeking medical and therapeutic support for life in recovery. We are currently seeking experienced candidates to be the first point of contact for our patients on the phone and in-person, to help ensure efficient work flow for providers, and manage general office administration at our mental health/addiction treatment facility at our Hingham, MA location.
Specific Responsibilities:
-Answer phones
-Schedule patients
-Check-in patients
-Verify insurance eligibility, and collect patient balance and co-pays
-Insure completion of patient profile
-Order office and medical supplies
-Arrange cleaning staff and emergency maintenance services as necessary
- Provide informative material for patients
-Generate inventory records
-Comply with current healthcare regulations, medical laws and high ethical standards
-Other responsibilities assigned by the office
Education and Experience:
-High school degree at minimum
-Experience in medical office 2+ years
-Experience with AdvancedMD or other EMR (preferred)
-Knowledge of medical issues and terminology
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
