Medical Receptionist for Growing Private Dermatology Practice

We are seeking an energetic individual to join our incredible team of professional, patient centered employees.

This position will be responsible for

• Check-in, Check out and registration of patients
• Heavy phone, fax and email patient calls and referrals
• Providing exceptional customer service to patients
• Verifying all insurances, benefits and educate the patients on their insurance as needed
• Collecting copayments, coinsurance, deductibles and balances at the time of service
• Accurately explaining payment programs and systems including credit cards on file and payment plan options.
• Managing all intake forms/ IPAD registrations and patient portal through EMR
• Posting payments taken throughout the day
• Providing daily accounting of all transactions- batching out monies against posted payments
• Accurate appointment scheduling, rescheduling, confirmations
• Interfacing with our off-site billing company regarding patient accounts

Required Experience

· 1+ years working as a Medical Receptionist

· Strong knowledge of insurance plans including co-payments, co-insurances and deductibles

· 1 + years working with an Electronic Medical Record

Pay: $17 - $19/ hour based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 – 40 per week
