Medical Receptionist

Seeking an energetic Medical Receptionist for an established allergist’s practice in West Des Moines. A conscientious and friendly approach to patients and staff is essential.

Weekday schedule is 40 hours, Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm or 830am to 5pm. No nights, no holidays, no weekend!

• Greet patients and check them in
• Answer phones and route them to appropriate department
• Schedule appointments
• Input patient demographics in computer
• Update patient information
• Collect copays and payments
• Misc duties as assigned
• Qualifications:
• Must have HS diploma or equivalent
• Show effective communication and organization skills
• Ability to relate well to patients and staff
• Strong goal orientated and have a “can do” approach
• Experience:
• Previous experience in a medical environment preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
