Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient service and administrative support in a medical office setting. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and overall patient experience.
Duties:
Check patients in and Check patients out. Answer Phones Schedule appointments. Check the mail. Pull vision insurance. Verify medical insurance and verify next day appointments. Bill vision and medical claims. Post vision and medical payments. Manage patients with overdue balances. Manage denied medical claims. Send review request and create pre-appointments. Notify patients their glasses and/or contacts are ready. Tender sales and bill vision insurances and post payments. Maintain the cash box and prepare and complete the day sheet at the end of each day. Call all pre-appointments, prepare email blast for pre-appointments and clean and maintain their working space. Maintain clerical and office supplies and filing.
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred
- Proficiency in using Revolution or similar electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Familiarity with office equipment such as fax machines, printers, and multi-line phone systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
-Delivering great customer service, dispensing, minor repairs, adjustments, maintaining lab inventory, proficiency and efficiency in laboratory skills.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
