Medical Receptionist

Responsible for:

• Greeting customers
• Communicating with all staff
• Performing a variety of clerical duties for clinicians, other members of the agency.
• Included, but are not limited to, certain operating office equipment, answering the telephone, screening calls, taking messages, providing information to patients and appropriate staff and taking co-pays/deposits.
• Obtains, verifies, and updates patient information and provides support services to patients and medical staff.
• Requests, locates, sends and receives patient’s medical records and is accountable for all clerical tasks required to provide a continuum of care at the highest possible level to all of our customers/patients.
• Understanding of HIPAA and privacy.
• Must pass background check with clearances.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
