Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the Dentrix software system
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or payments
- Provide administrative support to medical staff, including filing, faxing, and organizing patient records
- Assist with medical scheduling and coordination of patient services
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role preferred
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple incoming calls
- Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental office management software
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
