Medical Receptionist

Under the direction of the Relevé Sports Medicine Practice Manager, this is a paid full-time hourly position which includes the following tasks:

1. Clerical duties in the office including answering phones

2. Creating and inputting data into patient charts

3. Checking in patients

4. Scanning paperwork

5. Handling faxes including submitting records to primary care doctors

6. Learn how to utilize our practice management software to post both patient and insurance payments to corresponding patient accounts

7. Verifying insurance benefits

8. Adapting standard electronic health record forms to our custom forms for patients to complete electronically

9. Assist practice manager with other additional position appropriate tasks in the office (when needed)

10. Work cooperatively with all members of the Relevé Sports Medicine team.

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical office, or similar healthcare setting preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service to patients and visitors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
