Medical Receptionist Position
Looking for a dependable, energetic, and compassionate to join our medical team as a Medical Receptionist.
Must be computer literate and able to multitask.
Requires a high school diploma and 1 year of experience in medical practice preferred. Perform a variety of tasks on a daily basis as directed by your immediate managers. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job independently.
Medical Receptionist responsibilities
- Update and maintain all Electronic Medical Records
- Record patient information into the EMR
- Answer phone calls, schedule patients, work on faxes and voicemails
- Greet patients as they enter the facility, collect patient balances and copayments
- Verify patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, confirming purpose of visit
- Secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; keeping patient information confidential
- Maintain safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standard precautions
- Keep supplies readily available by re-stocking responsible for inventory weekly
- Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance and calling for repairs when unable to diagnose using common knowledge of technology
Medical Receptionist Skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.50 per hour
