The Medical Receptionist is in charge of checking patients out; collect co-pays, maintain busy appointment schedule, work with patients in a daily basis and maintain a positive and helpful attitude, covering for other locations as needed, traffic cop, answering the phone, taking notes and effectively communicating with doctors and other staff members. Tasks that you should be familiar with when applying for this position are :
Effectively working an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Faxing documents to other medical practices and governmental institutions
Soft skills and etiquette when dealing with patients in person or on the phone
Must have completed High School Diploma

High Words Per Minute typed

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
