We are seeking a proactive and organized Receptionist with the ability to book new patient leads for our Healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a positive experience from the moment they enter our facility or contact us by phone. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Operations:
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, screen and direct them to the staff member.
- Manage and maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean and organized.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Appointment Scheduling:
- Schedule and confirm appointments for new and existing patients.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure smooth scheduling and minimize wait times.
- Update and maintain the appointment calendar using the scheduling software.
- New Patient Lead Booking:
- Respond to inquiries from potential new patients via phone, email, or in-person.
- Provide information about our services, facilities, and practitioners to prospective patients.
- Book appointments for new patient leads, ensuring accurate recording of patient details and preferences.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary.
- Verify insurance information and assist patients with billing and insurance-related inquiries.
- Assist with various administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and inventory management.
- Customer Service:
- Address patient concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- Educate patients about our services, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Positive attitude and a strong commitment to patient care.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.95 - $23.00 per hour
