SalaryOur Medical Office is looking for a reliable individual to join our team of receptionists and help with front desk procedures. The ideal candidate for this position has experience working in primary care and is responsible for answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling insurance claims. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, professional, and efficient, as well as patient and friendly toward our customers.
Office hours: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Responsibilities:
- Answer patients' questions about the organization and about the practice's services.
- Answer phone calls and provide information to callers about practice services.
- Transmit emergency messages to patients and/or providers.
- Provide information about medical billing and insurance to patients.
- Make arrangements for appointments.
- Process insurance paperwork; track insurance payments; verify coverage; explain benefits.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
