As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice.

```Responsibilities:```
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
- Schedule appointments and manage the physician's calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain patient records and update medical charts
- Assist with medical billing and insurance claims processing
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow-up on patient care
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and availability of supplies
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

```Requirements:```
- Previous experience working in a Medical Office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Proficiency in medical scheduling software (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Eaglesoft) is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is an asset
- Familiarity with dental office operations is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
