Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Assist with medical billing and insurance verification
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow-up appointments
- Manage office supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
-Assist with testing as deemed necessary by practice
-Assist with front desk responsibilities as deemed necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental or medical receptionist or in a front desk role is preferred
- Familiarity with medical records management and scheduling systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment, including emergency situations in an ER or dental office setting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
