BC Services is one of the largest accounts receivable management companies in Colorado with our corporate headquarters located in Longmont. A family-owned, third generation company, we work with organizations in all 50 states that need expert support managing their revenue cycle and collecting unpaid account balances.
Working under the guidance of the Insurance Division Manager, you will work to resolve all outstanding balances on insurance accounts by processing appeals and working denied claims.
BC Services is a Colorado based company. BC Services provides remote work opportunities in select locations - AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, KS, MS, MO, MT, NC, NE, NM, OH, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, WY
Specific work hours will apply in order to meet the needs of the business and our clients, M-F, 6 am - 6 pm Mountain Time, shift is scheduled, not flexible.
How You Would Do It (include, but are not limited to, the following):
- Research client’s claims to identify incorrectly billed charges
- Correct and rebill claims in the client’s clearinghouse system
- Actively work to resolve the accounts by processing appeals, tracing payments, checking claims status, and escalating coding issues
- Establish best practices for claims billing to provide feedback to client
- Communicate with various payers via phone or web portal
- Provide continuous communication with clients via phone and email
- Keep manager apprised of any trends or issues that require additional escalation
What You Must Have
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Insurance follow up experience – minimum 2 year and/or
- Denials management experience - minimum 1 year and/or
- Experience working with Epic, Centricity and Artiva a plus
- Medical billing certificate a plus
- Intermediate Excel and Microsoft Office
What Would Be a Bonus to Have
- Knowledge of medical billing and coding

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
