Our friendly dermatology private practice is seeking a personable, dependable, detail oriented, and motivated Medical Receptionist with great communication and customer service skills to join our team. You will work in a supportive team environment and help provide an exceptional patient experience.
- Greets, checks-in, and checks-out patients
- Handles new and existing patient inquiries
- Collects and posts patient payments
- Answers phone calls and emails, relays information and requests accurately
- Schedules patient appointments
- Orders medical and office supplies as needed.
- Orders skin care as needed
- Keeps inventory of supplies and skin care
- Provides support to the doctor and other team members whenever needed.
- Organize doctor's domestic and international travel schedule
- Respects patient confidentiality with a thorough understanding of the HIPAA/HITECH laws
- Quick Books entries, Bank reconciliations, entering new customers (1 year preferred)
- Constant Contact mailers to existing patients
- Marketing (example: creating special packages and specials for patients)
