COMPENSATION: $19.00 - $24.00 Hourly
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday (30 - 35 Hours/Week)
Locally-owned and operated specialty practice has an amazing opportunity for a Medical Front Deskto join their team! If you have previous experience within a healthcare office setting and have the desire to gain medical administration experience, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for. We are looking for someone with dedication and the willingness to learn. If you do not have a medical billing education, the practice is willing to train! JOB DUTIES:
As the Medical Front Desk your training will start with learning the practice's front office duties. Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Answer phones
- Schedule patient appointments
- Greet patients
- Update patient data
- Assist with co-payments
- Assist with new patient referrals
- Verify insurance
- Assist with invoices and medical billing tasks
- Assist the clinic manager with clerical tasks
- Maintain front office environment
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
- Minimum 6+ months of recent Medical/Healthcare office experience
- EMR software experience is preferred
- Previous medical billing experience preferred
- Ability to type 45 WPM
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Current on required immunizations, including Covid-19
