SalaryWe are a medical practice in West Linn seeking a Front Office Assistant to support the practice manager and physician with a wide range of administrative tasks. As examples, the Front Office Assistant will:
- Greet patients arriving for appointments and complete the check in process
- Answer phones and respond to emails to schedule patients and address questions
- Collect and update patient information in the electronic medical records system
- Prepare and maintain patient charts and records
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Enter data, record keeping, filing, copying, and document management
- Inventory and order medical and office supplies
- Complete lab requisition and prior authorization forms
No prior training or experience required, but a successful candidate will have:
- Potential to take over duties of the practice manager once trained in Front Office tasks.
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
This position is for Monday to Thursday with typical hours being 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
