Medical Front Desk Receptionist

The position we are seeking is for a Front Desk Receptionist and is full time.

This is NOT a remote job; all shifts will take place in the office.

Our medical receptionists directly interact with patients collecting and providing information concerning the patient’s medical care. Receptionists also work closely with other staff to ensure effective communication. Medical Receptionist duties include but are not limited to:

• Greeting patients and vendors
• Checking patients in and out, obtaining insurance information and any other necessary data
• Entering information into EHR systems.
• Scheduling appointments on the phone and at checkout desks.
• Distribute faxes
• Collecting outstanding balances, cosmetics, products, and copays.
• Answering phones
• Providing patients with support and guidance as needed
• Multitasking
• Flexibility
• Our Medical receptionists should be high energy, pleasant with patients and staff, organized, and computer-savvy.
• Medical terminology is a plus
• Knowledge of insurance is a plus
• EMA experience is a plus

Ideal Candidate will have:

· Exceptional multi-tasking skills

· Exceptional documentation skills

· Confidence in education patients on any financial obligations

· Familiarity with medical terminology

· Able to work independently after fully trained

· Possess strong organizational skills

· Ability to be proactive and take initiative

Pay is $18.00/hr (firm)

Shift M-T 7:15am – 4:00pm, Friday 7:15am – 12:00pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
