SalarySPC Dermatology Management is currently seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk receptionist to join our Tamarac office. A successful candidate for this position will enhance office effectiveness by providing overall team support activities. As a candidate, you will project a professional image, while maintaining a friendly and outgoing manner.
Responsibilities:
- Keen ability to effectively communicate with clients, staff and management.
- Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone.
- Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain the Front Desk and reception area in an organized, orderly fashion.
- Collect co-payments, deductibles, and co-insurances.
- Communicate with patients to set up and schedule optimal appointment times.
- Maintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff, and patient information.
- Complete accurate documentation of patient visits.
Requirements:
- At least 1-year work experience in a medical office environment preferred but we are willing and ready to train the right candidate.
- Innovative thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and planning skills.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments
Spanish speaking preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
