Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Two or more years in in-office Medical Billing.

Position Specific:
- Works and executes assigned posting of ERAs and AR appropriately and timely. Understanding of remark codes when working ERA’s.
- Uses correct codes and modifiers accurately to maximize reimbursement and seek precertification/authorization.
- Maintains account communications or correspondence with patient and insurance carriers until account is paid in full.
- Perform various collection actions including contacting patients/insurance carriers by phone, collecting balances, and establishing payment plans.
- Ability to verify eligibility and benefits for all patients including deductibles, copays, coinsurance etc.
