SalaryQualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in Medical Billing is required. Employment history must include in-person, private practice billing.
· Proficient knowledge of CPT and ICD10 coding systems.
· Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in coding and documentation.
· Ability to efficiently multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Responsibilities:
· Utilize knowledge of CPT and ICD10 coding to accurately assign diagnosis and procedure codes for services rendered.
· Diagnostic test billing and knowledge of hospital billing (experience is a plus)
· Review claims for appropriate modifiers before their submission to insurance companies.
· Retrieve all necessary information from hospital face sheets to establish new patient accounts.
· Enter and update patient demographics and insurance information with precision and attention to detail.
· Maintain a high level of accuracy and organization while multitasking various billing-related duties.
· Utilize eClinical Works software (experience is a plus) to streamline billing processes and maintain electronic records.
