Medical Billing and Coding Specialist

ClearComp Healthcare Billing and Coding Specialist position overview:

Candidates must have 1 year of Healthcare billing/coding experience. Workers Compensation billing experience is preferred but not required.

About us: ClearComp works directly with employers and workers compensation insurance companies to provide Physical Therapy, (PT), for patients injured at work, (www.ClearCompPT.com).

ClearComp Billing and Coding Specialists prepare bills on Microsoft 365 software and HCFA 1500 workers compensation forms to be transmitted to Workers Compensation insurance companies for Physical Therapy services performed. In addition, they post payments received and generate payments to Physical Therapy providers on Quickbooks software. Accuracy and accountability are vital to the success of this position.

Essential Job Requirements:

1. This position works in the corporate office Mon- Wed, 8 hrs p/da, 24 hrs p/wk.

7. Computer proficient in WORD, Gmail, Efax, Microsoft 365 and Quickbooks.

8. Able to thrive in a high volume/busy healthcare environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
