```Job Summary```
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to join our team. The Medical Biller will be responsible for accurately coding and billing medical claims, ensuring timely reimbursement, and maintaining patient records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing systems, terminology, and coding procedures.
```Duties```
- Review and verify accuracy of patient demographic and insurance information
- Submit claims to insurance companies electronically or by mail
- Follow up on unpaid claims and denials
- Process payments from insurance companies and patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Answer patient inquiries regarding billing and insurance coverage
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding coverage and claim information
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies
- Stay updated on changes in medical coding and billing regulations
```Experience```
- Previous experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role
- Proficiency in medical terminology and coding systems (ICD-10, ICD-9)
- Familiarity with medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Strong knowledge of insurance guidelines and reimbursement processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
