Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HOME HEALTH private insurance Biller to join our team. As a Medical Biller, you will be responsible for accurately billing medical claims, ensuring timely reimbursement from insurance companies, and maintaining patient billing records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical systems and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
Duties:
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims to private insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve any billing discrepancies
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
- Process payments received from insurance companies or patients
- Maintain patient billing records and update information as necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation for accurate billing
- Stay up-to-date with changes in medical coding guidelines and regulations
Requirements:
- 2yrs experience in Home Health private insurance billing is a MUST
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
