Adecco is currently assisting a local client in support of Medical Billers this is a temp opportunity that is 4-5 months long.
This role is M-F 9am-5pm onsite in Wayne, NJ.
Job Description:
Working knowledge of medical billing and claims processes, organizing payments, handling denied claims and follow-ups, speaking with patients about their accounts and responding to insurance company inquiries.
Dispute/Appeal denied claims after processing.
Read and interpret Insurance Explanation of Benefits for appeals and patient balance/statement inquiries.
Follow-up on previously submitted disputes/appeals.
Identify and document all patient accounts accurately based on what type of insurance product the patient has, PPO, HMO, other Managed Care Organizations, Medicare Advantage Plans, Government plans or Workman Compensation policies.
Perform detailed, accurate and timely insurance verifications for patients seeking treatment.
Document insurance benefits, co-payments, deductibles, and self-pay portions in the account to allow for collections due.
Qualifications:
CPR Plus System
ICD -10 Codes
Medicare Experience
Being able to work with a team.
Reporting into the Manager of Billing.
Pay Details: $30.00 per hour
