Medical Biller

Ethos Behavioral Health Group is seeking a Care Team Member for its Ethos Wellness - Woodway location.

Ethos Wellness - Woodway is part of Ethos Behavioral Health Group. EBHG, a family of integrated healing centers, offers specialized and personalized mental health care for anything ranging from substance use disorders to mood and personality disorders via inpatient care at The Prairie Recovery Center and outpatient care through multiple Ethos Wellness locations in Texas and Illinois.

Medical Biller Position Summary:

The Medical Biller is responsible for collecting patients’ financial responsibilities as well as non-clinical administrative duties.

Work Schedule: Full time: Monday to Friday: 12pm to 8pm 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist with the communication of financial status to patients or families
2. Complete financial paperwork and coordinate signatures
3. Collect clinical fees
4. Document and report on patients with unpaid balances
5. Handle and transfer phones for Ethos Wellness
6. Assist callers with descriptions of program offerings
7. Collaborate with admissions team about any new inquiries
   
8. Assist with Intakes
9. Assist clinical staff with scheduling of initial visit
10. Maintain room assignments of individual and group spaces
11. Collect and organize incoming mail
12. Monitor supply levels and create work orders as needed
13. Assist with safety checks as assigned by Executive Director
