The position will report directly to the onsite practice manager. Assist providers with the efficient patient flow while maintaining high standards of care, perform a variety of general patient care responsibilities including but not limited to measuring/recording vital signs, performing point of care (POC) testing, quality control of POC testing equipment, proposing medication refill requests, referral requests, etc. Prepare exam rooms for appointments, stocking and restocking of clinical supplies, timely & accurate documentation in patient's medical records, etc. Assist with making appointments, answering phone calls, and assisting with other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. Graduate of accredited practical nursing program or medical assistant curriculum or equivalent. American Heart Association CPR Certification preferred.
