We Are Growing! The NeuLine Clinic of Celina is adding a full-timeMedical Assistant to our Family Practice clinic in Celina, Texas (near Frisco, Tx). A successful Medical Assistant will perform as follows:
Responsibilities:
- Compassionately greets patients and prepares them for provider examination.
- Screens patients in an effort to prepare them for a quality visit with the provider.
- Display a professional patient-friendly demeanor at all times.
- Instructs patients in collection of samples and tests.
- Assess patients' general condition including checking vital signs and weight.
- Maintains exam rooms for necessary supplies and materials. Ensures cleanliness.
- Prepares list of medical supplies needed.
- Prepares equipment and aids provider during treatment, examination and testing of patients.
- Perform blood draws and prepare samples for distribution to labs.
- Maintains/reviews electronic patient records, charts and other pertinent information.
- Maintains patient confidentiality.
- Perform other related duties as directed or required by provider and supervisor.
- Practicing within the realm of HIPAA compliance at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High school diploma, or equivalent, or job related experience.
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
- Minimum 1 year MA experience preferred.
