Solo MD practice focused on Interventional Neurology is looking for a PART TIME Bilingual (English + Spanish) Medical Assistant. The clinic is located in the Texas Medical Center area. We are seeking for a mature individual, we prefer (although we are willing to train you) prior experience in similar areas of practice (Neuro, Ortho, Interventional Pain or Surgery).
The following are requirements for the position:
1-Prior documented experience in a doctor's office. THIS POSITION IS A MIX OF BACK AND FRONT OFFICE WORK. It is an absolute requirement for the successful applicant to have held his/her last position for at least 2 years. We will give preference to individuals with demonstrated employment stability.
2-Three verifiable professional references, one should include the immediately prior or current employer.
3-Experience with insurance verification of benefits and other front office functions.
4-Excellent communication skills.
