Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist With Athena One Experience

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist with proficiency in Athena One to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid medical billing and Accounts Receivable management background, with specific experience using Athena One software.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage Accounts Receivable functions, including billing, collections, and follow-up activities. ALL IN ATHENA ONE
2. Utilize Athena One software to process claims, track payments, and resolve outstanding balances.
3. Review and analyze patient accounts to identify billing discrepancies and insurance denials.
4. Communicate effectively with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to resolve billing issues and expedite payment.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all billing and collections activities.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline revenue cycle processes and optimize reimbursement.
7. Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and reimbursement policies that may impact Accounts Receivable operations.
8. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and internal stakeholders regarding billing inquiries and account resolutions.
