Mechanical Engineering Intern

Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. is recruiting Engineering Interns for Spring-Summer 2024!
Join our team in the Nuclear business unit and gain valuable experience working with our world-renowned experts.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Analysis of nuclear power plant structures
• Support software design and development
• Develop skills in fracture, fatigue and stress analyses
• Strengthen your knowledge of engineering fundamentals

WHO YOU ARE:

• Junior/Senior working toward a BS or MS in Mechanical, Nuclear, Aerospace Engineering or similar discipline
• Excellent communicator (oral and written) with high attention to detail
• Intellectually curious with high ambition and a strong work ethic
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and programming languages preferred
• Basic course works in fracture mechanics, finite element modeling are preferred

TERM & LOCATION:

• Spring through Summer of 2024
• San Jose, CA

The expected pay rate for this role in San Jose, CA is $30 - 32 per hour depending on experience and education.
