This is an exciting Mechanical Engineer III role with a leader in electrical and infrastructure digital products, headquartered in Kenosha, WI. The unique thing about this employer is that all of their projects are custom ordered, so you as an engineer get to work on a different/design product on a daily basis.

This opportunity also offers you a first hand look at the full product life cycle of product design because the manufacturing facility is on site as well. In this role, you’ll be supporting with some design work but also production to ensure the successful completion of the product. . Mechanical Engineer III Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop lighting products utilizing 3D parametric modeling systems
• Develop layouts and detailed drawings (flat, form, weld assemblies, etc.) using 3-D solid modeling software
• Own specific pieces of product design throughout the product lifecycle, maintaining all cost, performance, and schedule requirements
• Serve as a technical resource for purchasing
• Participate in productivity process improvements with manufacturing engineering.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift, hybrid (3 days on site, 2 days remote)

Pay: $90,000- $105,000+/year

Mechanical Engineer Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
• 2+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience in a manufacturing industry
• Experience with Inventor, solidworks, or CAD design software
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to determine the origin of problems and initiate corrective action.?
