Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to become a part of our team! You will be required to perform a variety of engineering tasks, as well as identify areas of improvement to increase operation efficiency.

Hours:8am-4:30pm

Responsibilities for Mechanical Engineer
1. Develop automation machinery for commercial use.
2. Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs
3. Perform testing and proof-of-principal validation of new designs when necessary.
4. Organize and keep hand sketches, basic machine calculations, and project notes
for each assigned machine project.
5. Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications for
manufacturing.
6. Collaborate and work with purchasing, vendors and contractors in sizing of
commercial parts and correct assignment of make parts.
7. Conduct relevant research.
8. Help to lower costs and improve efficiency.
9. Manage all current and as-built BOM’s, assembly drawings, and detail drawings.
10. Provide support during the building and installation of the machinery.

Qualifications for Mechanical Engineer
1. BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field in industrial machinery
design.
2. 2-5 years of experience working in engineering.
3. Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical
systems such as servo motor applications, timing belt drives, rack and pinion
drives, weldments, fabrications, and manufacturing methods.
4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including the ability to write
reports.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills: ability to apply advanced mathematical
principles and statistics to solve problems.
6. Skilled in SolidWorks and AutoCAD or similar.
7. Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to change.
8. Able to work in a team environment.
9. Self-motivated attitude and the ability to use initiative.
10. Results oriented.
