Mechanical Engineer
Job Summary:
Campbell Wrapper Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Engineer. This position is responsible for the design of horizontal flow wrappers, feeders, and product distribution systems.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Prepare mechanical designs which are accurate, clear and conform to recognized drafting practices and company policies, procedures, and standards.
2. Coordinate machinery orders while working to customer specifications, identifying changes to standard machinery to meet specifications.
3. Troubleshoot mechanical design issues and develop solutions.
4. Create, organize, and update all relevant product documents including drawings, bills of material, specifications, and shop manuals.
5. Produce cost effective designs to meet requirements within budget and schedule.
6. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
2. 3-8 years of mechanical design experience.
3. Must be proficient with SolidWorks 3D CAD modeling and design of mechanical components.
4. Strong mechanical aptitude, experience with machined parts, sheet metal, weldments, and overall machinery design.
5. Familiarity with USDA, FDA, and OSHA standards for machinery design.
6. Open to occasional travel if required.
7. Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and prioritize fluctuating priorities while maintaining a positive attitude.
8. Must be a high energy team player, willing to grow and take direction while working in a challenging and demanding work environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $95,000.00 per year
