Mechanical Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Enthusiastically support and contribute to manufacturing program and tools.
- Support the development of manufacturing processes; design, modify and test methods and equipment requirements.
- Process improvements: Conducts evaluations, suggests designs and spearheads development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment.
- Mitigate waste: maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Lean Six sigma understanding: Implement lean processes, conduct time studies, identify continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review, Update and Write detailed process work instructions and standard work.
- Preparing First Article Inspection reports (FAIs) for new parts process changes
Basic Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- about 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
- US citizen
