The purpose of this position is to build relationships with the customers in your territory and understand their challenges and opportunities. Combining this information with a deep knowledge of available options, design product and service solutions that help those customers build sustainable profitability.
This position provides an environment for rapid learning and skill building in the agricultural equipment industry, with a heavy focus on training, mentorship and technology.
What you will be doing:
- Effectively plan and execute daily logistics to support the achievement of sales and profitability targets
- Take advantage of mentorship opportunities while supporting Account Managers and Territory Managers in their roles
- Invest in customer relationship management through regular sales calls
- Look for opportunities to continuously learn about the products and services available to help producers increase profitability and efficiency
- Maintain CRM with current customer demographic, equipment and technology information
- Gain a solid understanding of equipment values, market trends/pressures and technology to develop professional sales proposals.
- Learn about financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
- Complete all sales documentation required, consistently follow the sales process
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment following the guidelines of workplace health and safety and Enns Brothers
Required Skills
- +2 years sales experience in a similar field or demonstrated transferable skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office, familiar with computerized quoting software
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Key attributes: self-motivated, persistent, resilient, good follow up and time management skills
Required Experience
- Agriculture degree or diploma would be an asset, post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience
- Professional sales training is an asset
- Valid Driver's License
