Physical Therapist

Therapy Of New York is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and be able to provide high-quality patient care. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a variety of physical impairments.

The Physical Therapist will also be responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans, providing education to patients and their families, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients to determine their physical impairments and functional limitations
• Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient function and mobility
• Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities
• Educate patients and their families on their condition and how to manage it
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current New York State license to practice Physical Therapy
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
