Job Description:

We are currently seeking Mechanical Engineer/ Designer for Summer Interns for 2024.
During the Internship, the students will get the opportunity to work with our senior engineers and designers to help on product designs. Our goal is to give each student the opportunity to experience the responsibilities of a full-time engineer/designer at BW Papersystems and better understand how the machine design methods are applied in the Corrugating and Paper Sheeting industry.
Education
Working towards B.S. in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering/Technical Associate Degree.
Experience
Experience in Solid works, AutoCAD, FEA, and Microsoft Programs, with proficiency with Microsoft Excel knowledge.
Your Internship Responsibilities Include:
Requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to be applied in design of mechanical system.
This Internship position requires the ability to simultaneously organize and successfully execute multiple project responsibilities. Candidates need to possess good communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility with tasks and the ability to interact with all levels of leadership, clients, and vendors.

- Creating detailed drawings of machine components.
- Designing simple parts
- Solid works Modeling
- Creating a Bill of Materials
- Coordinating with the assembly team
- Improving standard configurators through an Excel Spreadsheet
