Mechanical Assembler 2 ~ First Shift ~ $21 - $23

We are looking for a Mechanical Assembler 2 is responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the manufacturing process, including assembling, testing, and inspecting products. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment. The Mechanical Assembler 2 is expected to have a higher level of skill and expertise compared to a Manufacturing Assembler 1 and may be responsible for training and supervising other technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble products according to blueprints, diagrams, and other written instructions
• Test and inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Report any issues or problems to the team lead or supervisor
• Train and supervise Mechanical Assembler 1s and other technicians as needed
• Perform advanced tasks such as setting up and operating specialized machinery and equipment
• Assist with the development and improvement of manufacturing processes
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
• Ability to work efficiently and meet production deadlines
• Proficiency with hand tools and basic machine tools
• Familiarity with quality control processes
• Ability to read blueprints and diagrams
• Strong leadership and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Vocational or technical training in a related field
• Experience setting up and operating specialized machinery and equipment
• Experience training and supervising other technicians
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma

Physical Demands:

• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Intermittent bending, lifting, stooping, reaching, walking, and squatting
• Standing for long periods of time

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 6 am to 2:30 pm

Pay Rate:

$21- $23
