Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating mechanical components and systems. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to use various tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Assemble mechanical components according to specifications
- Use power tools and hand tools to perform assembly tasks
- Measure and inspect parts using precision instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Solder or weld components as needed
- Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment to transport parts or finished products
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Ability to fabricate components based on specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling equipment is a plus

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
