Job Description
Candidate will be working in an indoor manufacturing facility assembling delicate Radio Frequency modules used in RF Microwave product. Including installing modules, power supplies, PC boards into chassis using a variety of hand tools prints and assembly instructions. Applicant must be able to work in a team environment with overtime as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device.
- Install hardware such as: screws, bolts, handles, clamps, knobs, switches, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
- Integration of finished assemblies or subassemblies in chassis, fab parts, cases and cabinets.
- Performs inline go-no-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Read work instructions, follows production drawings, sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
- Able to use small hand tools such as screwdrivers, nut drivers and torque wrenches.
- Ability to work with small hardware during the assembly of the above mentioned.
- Familiar with the requirements of working with ESD sensitive components.
- Able to interpret and follow Change Orders to update assemblies per documentation.
- Applicant must be able to push carts and lift assemblies throughout the manufacturing process.
SHIFT: Day Shift -- approximately 6:00am - 3:00pm
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of four years of mechanical assembly experience. Must be able to read and follow prints and assembly instructions, have good organizational skills, work well in a small team environment and have working computer skills. Candidate must be able to work with small hardware/assemblies and be able to lift and carry larger completed assemblies. Good soldering skills is beneficial, but not required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
